Meeting Schedule for 2020

Some sweet kids get new handknit hats at a Clinica visit.
Hello knitters! Our January meeting went very well, and we got to work on a fun hat pattern in broken rib. We primarily knit for children, but Clinica can also use adult hats, so if you want to make a second hat in an adult size, you can use the same pattern and just cast on more stitches. (I'm doing one with 88 stitches, but any multiple of 4 should work.)

We have our meeting schedule for the rest of the year. Please pay attention as the location, day of the week, and time will change starting in April. We will also be meeting through the summer and in December.

Welcome to Boulder Community Knitting: Next meeting January 21

Hello knitters!

The group Community Knitting, which has been run by local shop Shuttles, Spindles, and Skeins, is now called Boulder Community Knitting and will operate independently. For those who are new to our group, we knit warm items to donate to local charities. We focus mostly on items for children. We meet once a month and share a free pattern. You need to bring your own yarn and needles. You can check bouldercommunityknitting.com for updated information on meetings and projects. All are welcome!

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, January 21 from 7-8:30 PM. We will be meeting at Shuttles, Spindles, and Skeins and will be making a mistake rib hat:

Please bring:
2.5 ounces of machine washable worsted weight yarn
A 16 inch circular needle size 7 or 8 (4.5 or 5 mm)
Double pointed needles size 7 or 8 (4.5 or 5 mm)

Hope to see you there!
