Hi knitters! Please join us this Wednesday, May 8, from 3:00 for 4:30 at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library. It's May, our sweater/vest month! We're sharing a hooded vest pattern (below), or you can make the sweater pictured above, a past pattern (there will be printed copies at the meeting). If you're making blanket squares, don't forget to scroll down to the end to get this month's squares.   Our 2 blanket square patterns this month are:  SQUARE 9: BLANKET RIB Cast on an odd number of stitches. Row 1: Knit into the front and back of each stitch Row 2: K2tog, then (P2tog, K2tog) across Repeat these 2 rows until piece measures 10 inches from cast on, ending with row 2. SQUARE 10: WAFFLE STITCH Cast on a multiple of 3 stitches plus 1. Row 1: P1, then (K2, P1) across Row 2: K1, then (P2, K1) across Row 3: repeat row 1 Row 4: knit across Repeat these 2 rows until piece measures 10 inches from cast on, ending with row 3 or 4.
