 Below are the blanket square patterns for October. For more information on the 24 in 24 project, please check out  THIS POST . SQUARE 19: CHEVRON RIB Cast on a multiple of 7 stitches plus 2. Row 1: K2, (K2tog, YO, K1 YO, sl 1, K1, psso, K2) to end Row 2: Purl across Row 3: K1, (K2tog, YO, K3 YO, sl 1, K1, psso) to end Row 4: Purl across Repeat these 4 rows until piece measures 10 inches from cast on. SQUARE 20: ALLOVER EYELETS Cast on a multiple of 10 stitches plus 1 Row 1: Knit across Rows 2, 4, 6, and 8: Purl across Row 3: K3, (K2tog, YO, K1, YO, Sl 1, PSSO, K5) to last 8 stitches, K2tog, YO, K1 YO, Sl 1, K1, PSSO, K3 Row 5: Knit across Row 7: K1, (YO, Sl 1, K1, PSSO, K5, K2tog, YO, K1) to end Repeat these 8 rows until piece measures 10 inches from cast on, ending with an even row. 

Hi knitters, In October we will be knitting mittens. You can find a link to the pattern HERE . We'll meet at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library on Wednesday, October 9 from 3:00 to 4:30. You'll need to bring about two ounces of worsted weight WOOL yarn (doesn't need to be machine washable), double pointed needles in US size 4 or 5 (3.5-3.75 mm), and a few stitch markers.  If you're still working on the bear and are having any trouble, Roxana will be at this meeting and the November one and can help you out.  Hope you can make it!
