We will be knitting a hat with a little bit of colorwork. As always, feel free to simplify the pattern to stripes or a solid hat if you don't want to do the colorwork. You will need to bring worsted weight yarn in 2 colors and US 7 or 6 (4.5 - 5 mm) needles (see pattern below for details). Also, I forgot the blanket square patterns last month, so I owe you 4 this month! Here they are: Abbreviations used: kfb = knit into the front and back of the stitch (increases 1) p2tog = purl 2 together sl1wyif = slip 1 stitch purlwise with yarn held in front of work SQUARE 5: KNOTTED RIB Cast on an even number of stitches.
