 July's not over yet! Here are the two blanket square patterns: BLANKET SQUARE 13: OBLONG TEXTURE Cast on a multiple of 10 stitches plus 1. Row 1: K3, P5, (K5, P5) to last 3 sts, K3. Row 2: P3, K5, (P5, K5) to last 3 sts, P3. Row 3: Rep Row 2. Row 4: Rep Row 1. Repeat these 4 rows until piece measures 10 inches from cast on, ending with an even row. BLANKET SQUARE 14: BLUEBELL RIB Cast on a multiple of 5 stitches plus 2. Row 1: P2, (K3, P2) to end. Rows 2, 4, and 6: K2, (P3, K2) to end. Row 3: Rep Row 1. Row 5: P2, (YO, sl 1, K2tog, psso, YO, P2), rep to end. Repeat these 6 rows until piece measures 10 inches from cast on.

Hi knitters, I'm sorry for the late notice - TOMORROW, July 10 is our July meeting. We will meet from 3 to 4:30 at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library. We'll be making an old favorite: the short row hat. I know I've made a lot of these and I never get tired of them. The pattern is below (click on the image to enlarge).
