Boulder Community Knitting

 Hi knitters, Our next meeting will be Wednesday, December 13, from 3:00 to 4:30 at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library.  We will be making an old Community Knitting favorite, the four corners hat. PATTERN HERE You will need 2 colors of worsted weight yarn, about 75 yards each, and a US 7 or 8 (4.5 or 5 mm) 16 inch circular needle. The hat is seamed at the top, so you won't need DPNs. We did our big donation for the year, and here is the final count of knitted items we collected this year: The count for 2023 was 1361!!!!! Hats.  762 Cowls/scarves. 194 Mittens.  109 Blankets. 4 Sweaters. 89 Socks (hand knit). 21 Vests 12 Bears. 160 Kittens 10 Plus we donated 6 boxes of children books.  Thank you all for your generosity of time, talent, and resources.
