Hi knitters, Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12, from 3 to 4:30 at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library. We have two hat patterns for this month (see end of the post). Each uses worsted weight yarn in two colors. They're shown here in red and green, but you can get creative and maybe use a bunch of colors and do some stashbusting. If you want to size them up or down or adjust for a different gauge, the squares hat cast on needs to be a multiple of 4 and 6 and the four corners hat needs to be a multiple of 4. Or if you switched from 2x2 to 1x1 ribbing, the squares hat would just need to be a multiple of 6 and the four corners an even number. Other updates: There will be a meeting in December (the 10th). The final dropoff for our holiday donation will be on November 28 from 3-4 at Meadows library. We are also taking donations of new/gently used children's books or cash donations to buy books.
