Next meeting: May 19 at 4:00

Please join us for our next meeting on Wednesday, May 19, at 4:00 PM, at Harlow Platts Park by Viele Lake in South Boulder. Bring a chair and stay and knit for a bit (weather permitting). We will be knitting a hat and vest set, a Roxana pattern that we have done before. You will need:

Worsted weight yarn:

Color A: 200 yards

Color B: 200 yards

(Color B can be oddballs of yarn to total 200 yards)

16 inch circular needles in US 7 or 8 for the hat

16 or 24 inch circular needles in US 7 or 8 for the vest

A generous member of our group is taking a break from knitting and has donated a box of yarn, needles and accessories. Everything is high quality, and there's lots of wool for mittens. I'll bring it to the meeting. Thank you, Denise!

Reminder: meeting Wednesday at 4:00

Just a reminder that we will be meeting this Wednesday, August 18, 4:00 at Harlow Platts park by Viele Lake. The pattern is a modified version of the Swirl Hat, a favorite from Hat Bingo . I think it uses about 2 ounces of worsted weight yarn, preferable something machine washable, and a US 7 or 8 16 inch circular needle. Hope to see you there!

Reminder: Meeting at Harlow Platts Park Wednesday 4-6

Just a reminder: we will be meeting IN PERSON at Harlow Platts Park (by Viele Lake in South Boulder) from 4-6 on Wednesday. We'll have a spot to drop off finished projects and pick up the new pattern (you'll need to provide your own yarn). Remember we'll also be collecting sweaters for the refugee project. If you'd like to stay and knit, please bring a chair or blanket. We'll sit in small groups rather than in one large one. Hope to see you there!

April cables (or not)

Our next meeting will be this Wednesday, April 12, from 3:00 to 4:30 at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library. Our project is a child's hat that you can make with or without cables. You'll need about 2 ounces of worsted weight yarn, US size 7 or 8 (4.5-5mm) 16 inch circular and double point needles, a cable needle if you are working the cable version, and 8 stitch markers, one unique for the beginning of the round. You can find the pattern HERE . Hope you can make it!
