Kittens in June

Hi all, 

In June we will be knitting a new toy Roxana designed for us - a kitten. If you’ve had trouble with the bear pattern, give this one a try - it’s a little easier. We are meeting at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library on Wednesday, June 14 from 3:00 to 4:30. You will need to bring approximately 1 ounce of worsted weight yarn and a few yards of sport weight yarn, and US#6 (4 mm) needles. The pattern is posted as an image below. March meeting canceled / Ways to connect

Hi everyone, After careful consideration, we decided to cancel our March meeting (next week). Many people in our group are at higher risk (over 60, other health issues), and we don't want to put anyone in danger. We are following the lead of schools, public buildings, churches, workplaces, and other gatherings in social distancing. This will give our healthcare workers their best chance to fight the Coronavirus and reduce its impact. Hat BINGO for Clinica

Hello knitters, Clinica needs more hats! Our contact there told us that they handed out the last batch of hats we gave her in a matter of hours! So we need to make some more hats. To make this a fun challenge, I thought we could try a game of Hat BINGO.  Click here for your card: GET A BINGO CARD You'll see 24 squares, each with a pattern name, and one free space in the middle. To get a bingo, knit 5 hats - all the patterns in a row (across, down, or diagonal). If you use the free space, you still need to knit 5 hats, but one can be any pattern you like - on the card, a duplicate, or some other pattern or improvisation you like. Snap a photo of your 5 hats for proof of your bingo - there will be prizes!  I've included a few patterns we've shared on the website, and the rest are all free patterns on Ravelry. April meeting

(screenshot from NASA's tracker ) Hi knitters, I hope you all get a chance to follow the Artemis II mission and celebrate our return to the moon and a new record for the farthest from Earth human have ever been (April 6 at 1:57 EDT)!  Our next meeting is this Wednesday, April 8, from 3:00 to 4:30 at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library.
