Hi knitters,
Sorry for the missed email last month - I was traveling and had technical issues. I was able to get the post up on the website: bouldercommunityknitting.com. You can always check this website if for some reason an email doesn't come through.
Our next meeting is Wednesday, July 9 from 3 to 4:30 at the Meadows branch of the Boulder Public Library. We'll be making a pattern that Ellen found. It's by designer Amanda Saladin, and it's available as a free pattern at the designer's website HERE. Or if you'd like a formatted pdf version, it's available for purchase on Ravelry HERE. The hat uses chunky yarn and US 10.5 needles and is knit back and forth without shaping and seamed at the end. I think it would work well with worsted weight yarn held double. Ellen's modifications for worsted weight on US 8 needles are to cast on 32 (40) stitches and to purl 27 (33) stitches at the beginning of row 2.
Hope you can make it!
